Rashmi Chandra is a Senior Technical Staff Member (STSM) in IBM’s Infrastructure Business Unit, where she leads the Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability (RAS) strategy for the IBM DS8000 Enterprise Hybrid Flash Storage Server. In this role, she drives the design and delivery of advanced RAS capabilities and enterprise‑grade cybersecurity solutions that support the always‑on requirements of mission‑critical, high‑performance workloads across IBM Z, IBM i, and open systems environments.

Beyond her technical leadership, Rashmi is passionate about mentoring and engaging with emerging engineers. She actively seeks opportunities to share her expertise, inspire the next generation of technologists, and continuously learn through collaboration and community interactions.
