She is the Founder & CEO of SoSheBuilds, a consulting firm that equips contractors, architects, and engineering teams with the systems, visibility, and strategic frameworks needed to win work and build sustainable operations.
In addition to leading SoSheBuilds, Karla oversees Business Development & Marketing at HBI Commercial Construction, where she drives growth across storage, industrial, and retail developments throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona. Known for her ability to translate complex regulatory, procurement, and operational challenges into clear action plans, Karla has helped companies secure millions in contract opportunities through improved processes, stronger business infrastructure, and mission-aligned partnerships.
With a decade of experience spanning government contracting, real estate development, and construction operations, Karla is passionate about building pathways for emerging talent and underserved founders in the AEC industry.
