Jingyi Xie is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at San José State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University. Her research focuses on human-centered AI and accessibility, where she designs, develops, and evaluates interactive systems that enable blind and low-vision individuals to access and engage with visual information.
