Cecilia Carranza Lewis is a senior technical staff member (STSM), Software Architect at IBM with over 40 years of experience in IBM Z Systems on the mainframe operating system. She leads global teams to deliver complex data management solutions focused on supporting enterprise clients’ data growth and data security. She holds several patents and is a frequent speaker at user conferences.

In addition to her technical work, Ceci is passionate about growing technical talent and K-12 STEM outreach. She received her BS in Computer Science/Math from Santa Clara University. She joined IBM shortly after graduation.
