Africa Espina Guzun, is Director of Environmental Services and a civil and environmental engineer with more than 20 years of experience in environmental compliance and remediation. She leads multidisciplinary teams supporting complex environmental projects, including site investigations, feasibility studies, remediation, and long-term monitoring of large project sites. She also manages smaller projects involving environmental site assessments and due diligence.

In addition, she works in sustainability by leading greenhouse gas emissions report verification for regulatory programs across multiple states. Her work involves coordinating with regulators, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure environmental projects meet federal and state requirements and help communities better understand and manage environmental impacts.

Ms. Espina holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in Iowa and serves as a Lead Verifier for greenhouse gas emissions programs in California, Washington, and Oregon.
